PPI consultant shares a poem they've written since attending and co-facilitating a creative space for PPI members

I continue to attend the blog creative writing group, which has now expanded to the Glasgow PPI ‘s
Where we share ideas and give each other inspiration - I have never written poems/blogs before and this group has given me the confidence to share my challenges and experience of living with schizophrenia.
We are different, you and me
We are different you and me
You cannot hear or see what I see
Situations become problematic
Every day, every hour, every second traumatic
They’re watching, waiting, is this a delusion?
I go into a panic full of confusion
I pop a pill, my mind is still
I long for the day to be free
Then we wouldn't be so different
You and Me
Nicola
